A technological shift in 2021
Dear Readers,
At the beginning of the year, I introduced our partners. Today I would like to focus on our high-tech solutions.
Trace Software’s DNA has always been to move forward with and for its customers.
By always listening to our customers, we have developed software solutions that meet the new organizational and energy challenges of the electricity and photovoltaic industries.
The latest version of archelios™ PRO for photovoltaic design will offer users even more powerful calculations, especially for managing large power plants. The software goes beyond standard PV design by positioning itself as a real project management tool.
But this year 2021 will be particularly marked by a major technological turning point for our R&D team, with the release of elec calc™ GRID, the only solution for sizing and simulating multi-source grids, in other words, the management of smart grids or intelligent electrical networks.
This software will more than ever highlight our electrotechnical expertise in energy management, which we put at the service of your success.
Our entire team remains at your disposal.
archelios™ PRO: more calculation and design possibilities in the next version 2021
Trace Software International and its solar subsidiary Cythelia Energy will release the latest version of the archelios™ PRO photovoltaic software range in April. Amongst all the evolutions brought by the 2021 version, users will be able to benefit from more calculation power and the consideration of new regulatory parameters.
Rexel acquires a stake in Trace Software International
Trace Software is pleased to announce that its partner REXEL, a global expert in the professional distribution of products and services for the energy sector, has taken a minor stake in the company. The distributor becomes a stakeholder in Trace Software International.
Electric vehicles (evs): how to manage the design of the charging terminals?
The charging constraints of the electric vehicle require significant energy. Suitable and safe equipment avoids any risk of overheating. How can we anticipate these constraints when sizing the installation?
Electrical design: protection of high-voltage industrial networks
When designing High Voltage networks, a protection plan must be established to ensure the safety of people, but also to preserve the continuity of the operation in case of a fault on the electrical installation. Our experts explain how to take these constraints into account with the elec calc™ software

elec calc™ | DC – Direct Current module for Low Voltage installations
The DC calculation module is intended to low voltage installations up to 1500V that do not fall under any specific standard. The user benefits from all the software’s features (manufacturers’ catalogs, drawing, layout, editions, exports, etc.). Of course, the direct current parts of the electrical installation can be processed in the same project as the alternating current parts.
