Innovations and leadership: on the road to 2021
Dear Readers
We are on the verge of ending this year 2020, which has proved unpredictable and unprecedented.
However, our desire to support our customers and develop ever more effective solutions has remained intact.
Again, this year, our development teams have innovated on our software ranges to help building and energy professionals meet the challenges of energy efficiency, plant optimisation and new energies. As usual, customer satisfaction testimonials have been the driving force behind our thirst for innovation, R&D.
Our latest technological developments have been revealed at virtual events such as BIM World 2020 or more recently E-Afrique Elec in Morocco. These unprecedented events, which break the codes of traditional trade fairs, have enabled us to assert our agility and our presence on the software market Worldwide.
We were also invited by CHINT, a leading global provider of smart energy solutions, to their 2021 global partners kick-off, where we introduced “Electrical new normal. Digitalisation implications to electrical industry”.
Our teams are ensuring we are ready for the second decade of this “accelerated” twenty first century where many challenges await us.
To this end, we are continuing our innovation R&D efforts to meet the new technological challenges of the building industry and renewable energies. 2021 will also mark the full deployment of our partnership with Rexel in France and the development of our subsidiary in Germany with the aim of taking the lead in electrical installation design and calculation tools in Europe.
All Trace Software teams, whom I thank for their sustained effort and commitment, remain at your disposal.
To your success
elec calc™ HV module: New features to come in 2021
The elec calc™ HV module enables the sizing of the High Voltage part (> 1000 VAC) of an electrical installation, in the same project as the Low Voltage part. Trace Software is delighted to introduce the new features of the 2021 version. Discover the new features
archelios™ CALC integrates CITEL surge protections
archelios™ CALC PV software now integrates a complete range of surge protectors offered by CITEL. These devices limit impulse overvoltages to an acceptable threshold for terminal equipment and discharge transient currents repeatedly. PV professionals can carry out their design with the guarantee of optimum safety.
Rexel France to distribute Trace Software’s electrical and PV design solutions
Trace Software is pleased to announce the signing of a distribution contract with REXEL France, a global energy expert. The contract covers the entire offer of the software publisher. This French partnership, with a key actor in the electricity industry, is a great recognition of the quality of all Trace Software solutions ranges.
Photovoltaic projects feasibility study with archelios™ PRO
The feasibility study of a photovoltaic project generally follows a prospecting phase on a territory or a building or lands portfolio. Its objective is to verify that a project is technically feasible and economically viable. Our expert explains how to run a feasibility study with archelios™ PRO PV software.
How to manage the NIBT safety standard in electrical installations for Switzerland ?
The Low Voltage Installation Standard (NIBT) is the most important standard for the electrical installation industry in Switzerland. The installations must be constructed in such a way as to ensure the safety of persons and property. elec calc™ enables the installation to comply with the requirements of the NIBT 2020 standard.
