Trace Software International celebrates the opening of its first office in Germany
This summer, Trace Software International will be celebrating the opening of its first office in Frankfurt to provide the German market with smart engineering software solutions in the fields of electrical design and maintenance, energy management, and digital data management within the BIM environment.
“We are very excited about investing in local German team focusing on DACH market,” said Dr Pedro Puig, VP sales of Trace Software International. “We have been innovating the electrical engineering industry for more than 30 years, and gained a unique experience in software design and services for the construction and energy industries, with a specific emphasis on data processes and BIM. We already have German market experience, but now it is just time to build even closer relationships with engineering professionals and other key partners. The entry to Germany is part of our global growth strategy to expand operations in key countries ”
elec calc™ is the software dedicated to engineering professionals that allows the user to design, size, calculate, and operate electrical installations in real-time. It’s the only software in the market that integrates the management of high and low voltage in the same project and guarantees compliance with international standards. The calculation methods used in the elec calc™ software are based on the safety requirements for people and property as defined in the VDE 0100 series of standards. The software takes into account protection against overcurrents and short-circuits, cable sizing on the basis of the power balance established in real-time from the single-line diagram of the installation.
The latest technological innovations in the elec calc™ will allow contractors or technical services of companies to ensure the smooth maintenance of their electrical facilities.
elec calc™ BIM
elec calc™ BIM is the world’s first software that seamlessly integrates electrical computing into an open BIM process. The user can design, calculate, and size the electrical installation in the digital model in IFC 4 format, generated by any 3D architecture software (Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp…). The latest developments in the software, such as management of junction boxes or multiple objects, will allow the user to gain even more precision of the routing.
With archelios™ Suite, Trace Software offers a unique tool that allows professionals to manage the entirety of a photovoltaic project. From feasibility and profitability study, simulation, production energy calculation, electrical sizing to the smallest details of the building, the archelios™ Suite is intended for all types of photovoltaic installations. The archelios™ Suite consists of three main applications:
· archelios™ Pro: feasibility, design, and sizing
It consists of four different PV offerings aimed at delivering more value and satisfying the needs of a wide range of professionals roles within the solar industry. Each product line is adapted to the size of the PV project and comes with features and benefits tailored to the specific requirement of the activity.
