At the heart of APEM Énergie’s work, softwares of the archelios range play a central role. Teams use archelios PRO from the earliest stages of a project to assess the solar potential and simulate the future behavior of the installation.

We use archelios PRO from the preliminary project, in particular to estimate the rate of self-consumption and measure the solar potential of a roof. This is our basis for the rest of the study. »

The tool makes it possible to combine load curves and production curves, offering a detailed view of the energy behaviour of the future installation. This data is used to support financial studies, facilitating decision-making and dialogue with the end customer.

In the execution phase, APEM Énergie completes its approach with archelios CALC, the electrical calculation and compliance software. ” We come back to this when we draw up the file for the works that have been carried out,” says Eva Ravier. This allows us to update the plans and calculations according to the actual conditions of implementation on the site.»

Optimize the storage capacity of a battery

In a recent project, a customer wanted to determine the optimal capacity of their battery to maximize their self-consumption rate. Thanks to archelios PRO, APEM Énergie was able to finely model the load and production profiles, simulating the different usage scenarios.

The software allowed us to clearly visualize when the battery is charged, when it is in use, and when it is full, resulting in a release of energy to the grid. We were able to adjust the storage capacity as closely as possible to the customer's needs.

This approach has resulted in more precise sizing, optimized investments and a return on experience that can be used for future projects.

Anticipating the constraints of collective self-consumption

Another example: a project for collective self-consumption on a canopy. APEM Énergie had to manage a dozen different delivery points, with various consumption profiles.
